Jinliang (Jin) Cai was born in Beijing, China in 1964. After graduating from Beijing University, he earned master degree in Public Policy and Management in 1989 at Carnegie Mellon University. He first worked for US Airways in Pittsburgh and then FedEx in Memphis over the last 18 years. He is currently the Vice President for International Business Development at the Greater Memphis Chamber of Commerce. Jinliang Cai is an active member of the Chinese community both in Pittsburgh and Memphis. He has been involved in many community organizations such as the Organization of Chinese Americans, Memphis Chinese Language School, Greater Memphis United Chinese Association, American International School Guangzhou, and Asian American for Tennessee.

Dr. William Lee was born in Memphis, Tennessee in 1949. He attended Rhodes College and the University of Memphis. He received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1978, during which time he was nominated to Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities, and Outstanding Young Men of America. He was a member of the American Optometric Association for 25 years and was nominated to America’s Top Optometrists three times. He has been involved with several community organizations including the First Chinese Baptist Church of Memphis where he served as co-chairman of the building committee, Discipleship Chairman, and New Believer’s and Men’s Bible Study Teacher. He is currently a member of Hope Presbyterian Church where he currently serves as a Deacon, Greeter, and Choir Member.

Libby lived in Memphis since 1950, She was a Girl Scout Leader and Troop Organizer for 10 Years. She taught 6th Grade Girls at Sunday School. She also worked 25 Years with IRS-Criminal Investigation. She married to George Jeu for 56 years and 11 months. She is the mother of three wonderful girls and one son, and grandmother to seven Children.

Emerald Dunn, independent historian, has collected several historical articles, images, and genealogical records on local Chinese people spanning 150 years. Her research has contributed to organizations such as the Memphis Public Library, the Chinese Historical Society of Memphis & the MidSouth, the Shelby County Historical Commission, 1882 Foundation, Mississippi Delta Chinese Heritage Museum, and the founding of the University of Central Arkansas Center for Chinese American Heritage. Her work has also helped unite over 8 different families to their ancestral history across the mid-south.
